Intern Stipend Award
Established through departmental and intern fund raising efforts, ITS sponsors the intern program to award book stipends to student interns employed in the program. This program enhances team-building and illustrates the division's support and appreciation of the student interns' contributions to the success of ITS.

Two - $250 Stipends are awarded Fall and Spring Semesters.

• A reflection paper on their work experience in the ITS Intern Program and that experience has or will influence opportunities for a professional career after graduation. Each paper will be no less than one and no more than 2 pages
• Reflection papers will be reviewed for:
  • Originality
  • Ability to succinctly write about experience
  • Grammar, spelling, style
  • Other

• Must be currently employed as an intern in ITS and have been employed for one complete semester (fall, spring, or summer)
• Any interns that have previously won the award may not re-apply for at least one complete year.
• Interns must have written support from their supervisor that they qualify (Interns must have a solid work record and handle themselves professionally)
• Interns must be enrolled as a full-time student and actively employed on campus
• Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Any submission suspect of plagiarism will be eliminated

• Must be accompanied by supervisor reference for the award
